Shipping & Delivery

  • Does Red Sash ship outside the US? Yes we do ship overseas.
  • What is the shipping time for Red Sash? Shipping information is provided at the time of order. Ground shipping typically arrives within 7 to 10 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays). PO Box deliveries may require 1 to 3 weeks. Rural locations may experience additional transit time.
  • Does Red Sash ship to PO Boxes? Yes, we ship to PO Boxes. However, delivery times may be longer depending on the shipping method selected.
  • How do I list my address if I live in an apartment or a co-op? Please include “c/o [Apartment/Condominium Complex Name]” on the second address line, followed by your street address and unit number. For example:

Mr./Ms. [Your Name] c/o [Apartment/Condominium Complex Name] [Your Street Address], Apt/Unit #[Your Unit Number] [City, State, Zip Code]

Orders & Returns

  • Does Red Sash offer financing options? No currently we are not offering any options, but in the future this may be an option.
  • Does Red Sash offer a military discount? Yes, we offer a 10% military discount. We partner with Defense Manpower Data Center for military verification. Verification methods include USAA membership, government service records, military email addresses, or uploading documentation. After creating an account, you can apply the discount during checkout.
  • What is the return policy? We accept unworn and undamaged shoes with original tags attached for a full refund within 30 days of receipt. Please notify us of your intent to return within 30 days and ship the item back within 15 days of notification. Refunds are processed upon inspection of the returned merchandise. Please note that initiating a chargeback with your bank will prevent future orders and may result in a refusal of service.
  • Can I return my items past the 30-day return window? Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for a refund or exchange after the 30-day return window. Items returned after this period will be returned to you.

Product Information & Care

  • How do I know my size? Red Sash boots are true to size. Leather boots may initially feel snug and require a break-in period. If you have wide feet or difficulty pointing your toes, we recommend sizing up. Due to the slip-on design, the boots should fit snugly on the bridge of your foot.
  • How do you break a boot in? The best way to break in your boots is by wearing them regularly around the house. We do not recommend wetting the leather or using steam, as this may damage the material and void the return policy.
  • Do your boots come in half sizes? Not at this time. We recommend sizing up if you typically wear a half size and wear thicker socks for a better fit.
  • What is a Goodyear welt and why is it important? Red Sash uses the Goodyear welt construction, a traditional method known for comfort, durability, and water resistance. Invented in by Charles Goodyear Jr., this method uses all-leather components and creates a footbed that molds to your foot over time. The construction involves stitching through the insole, upper, and welt strip, then attaching the welt strip to the outsole, ensuring no stitching inside the boot.
  • How do I clean and care for my Red Sash Boots?
    • Clean: Remove dirt with a damp cloth or soft brush. Use a leather cleaner for stubborn stains (test in an inconspicuous area first).
    • Condition: Apply leather conditioner liberally and allow to dry.
    • Polish: Apply neutral or color-matching cream polish and buff with a soft cloth.
    • Embroidery: Gently wipe with a damp cloth and a soft brush if needed. Avoid scrubbing and conditioning the leather afterward.
  • Why is Red Sash a great value? Our boots are handcrafted from premium materials sourced from the world’s best tanneries. We combine state-of-the-art technology with time-honored construction methods to create durable, timeless designs. We collaborate with experts throughout the entire process to ensure an affordable, high-quality product.
  • Can I order custom boots? We accept custom design orders for large quantities (minimum 250-300 pairs, one design, various sizes). Production time is typically 3-4 months after design finalization. Our custom order team will work closely with you throughout the process.
  • Are your insoles removable? No, the insoles are not removable. Our boots are designed for optimal comfort without additional inserts, which may compromise fit and wear.
